What would you think/assume/do if you saw a parent from your child's school begging?

Just out of interest really. Is it a cause for concern do you think, or nobody's business but their own?

It's a different way of life innit. Unless I had noticed the kids seeming uncared for or unhappy I wouldn't think it was any of my business.

I'd assume he busked for a living and I'd stick a quid in and say hi.

Well I saw him again this afternoon (playing christmas carols!). Dp thinks it is wierd and wrong for a parent to be doing it and that they are probably drinking or using drugs as their benefits should be enough to support them adequately

I have to say I am uncomfortable with the way he looks homeless sat there with the dog and blanket when he has got a house and family! But I suppose each to their own, I just think it plays on peoples sympathys a bit.
