Been through 2 hoovers in 2 years.
Want a cylinder hoover. Which ones are best/last the longest?

Hope someone responds to this thread, mine has died too! Mine was an ancient Dyson DC01 i bought second hand, wouldn't really recommend it although the customer service is fantastic IMO.

I've got a Miele too. Had one before and it was brilliant so replaced it with similar but newer model.

Definately a Miele, bit more expensive but worth every penny. Takes us half the time to hoover now. You will never look back.
Simply the best.

I jsut bought that Bissell one advertised on the telly and it is far superior to our previous Dyson, it sucks so hard it sort of pulls itself along the carpet! It is excellent and was a lot cheaper than the Dyson equivalent (DC14 all floors model):

In the last few years I have had 3 dysons. Great to start with but soon fell apart/lost suction.

Bought a cylinder Henry a year ago following exhaustive search on customer ratings websites and mumsnet recommendation. It is wonderful.

Have persuaded several friends to buy one - everyone loves it.Due to the smiley face on its side the kids argue over who is doing to do the hoovering.

It costs about £90. When I bought it amazon was offering the best deal.
