Actually Saggyhairy, there is something specific in the letter about not having taxi transport.

Thanks DG
Park and ride it is I think.

Good luck! I'm at work I'm afraid or I'd help

What time will you be leaving the hospital?

TooTicky · 14/11/2008 20:29

Um... I don't know. We have to be there for midday. I'm guessing we may be there 5 hours or so.

Trenchard is the best place, it isn't even a 10 minute walk.

Over 4 hours costs £10 though so be warned...

needmorecoffee · 14/11/2008 20:32

this might not be useful.....I'm in East bristol and we're going to the dental hozzie next door to the eye hozzie about 10am to be there for 10.30. Can drop you off if you want to park outside my house and fetch you back later as will be staying on in town until 4 ish for a meeting.
We're not far from the M32/M4 junction.
Parking in town is bleedin' nightmare but I have a magic park where ya want badge

TooTicky · 14/11/2008 20:48

Thank you needmorecoffee, that is so kind of you!! However, although I'd love to meet you, the park and ride should work well for us as I come in on the Bath Road anyway.

Thank you again

DDG, it is I, WestCountryLass/Jo Sorry! Should have explained!

TT, hope everything goes ok, I was going to suggest the same as NMC but I am further away. Sorry I can't help.

Oh hello Saggy - why the name change? I thought you had discovered real life when I no longer saw WCL posting!

Yes, all well here. Ds1 enjoys secondary school and ds2 is joining him in September and can't wait - but he loathes primary, poor thing. DD and ds3 (latter now in Year1) happy at school. I am still at home, though have done the occasional day of supply teaching.

How are all of yours? What are you doing these days?
