emails you 3 times and you reply each time but it doesn't look like she is getting your mails and so you send a letter in the post with your details and phone no and say please call as you have no number for her but then you get no response?

Ta.

Did you email from your ebay account, or personal account?

hotpotmama · 10/11/2008 14:41

From both, have even emailed from a different work email account so thats 4 emails I have sent but still no reply.

hmm, you've done what you can.

go into ebay, help, contact us, press the tab which says 'send us an email', follow the instructions and ask their advice.

I actually did this this morning for a buyer whom I've emailed 3 times and had no response. Ebay got back to me and said they were going to follow it up and treat non-payment seriously...

I don't think ebay will give out phone numbers - this is the email I had back which refers to privacy but is a bit vague...

Thank you for contacting eBay regarding your transaction with the buyer
"", for the freezer (item ) you listed. I
understand your frustration that the buyer hasn't yet paid for the item
or replied to your emails.

I appreciate your effort for getting in touch about this member. We take
reports of members breaking our rules very seriously and always
investigate them fully.

We'll look into your report as soon as possible, we usually do this
within 24 hours. If we think it's appropriate, we'll take action against
this member (for example a warning or suspension) to make sure eBay
stays a safe and reputable place to buy and sell.

But as I'm sure you'll understand, member privacy is another of our top
priorities, and so we can't share details of any action we do take.

does that actually mean that you can get an individual's phone number? cos that worries me... not that I've anything to hide but I don't really want anyone off ebay to get my contact number...

ebay can sometimes be a curse as well as a blessing!

hotpotmama · 10/11/2008 20:58

Mutt you are a star, have got a phone number and sorted out a pick up time.

Thanks a million!
