Yeah, yeah, I know it's really cheesy, but you have to keep the special stuff somewhere!!

In DS's...

All the cards we received when he was born
Hospital tags
The mask he wore when having his jaundice treatment
Some hair
Handknitted boots
His first babygrow
Our list of possible baby names
A copy of a newspaper from his birthday
The baby photo competition from the local paper

We decided not to keep his umbilical cord stump! ...or a meconium sample!!

So, what have you kept for your baby?

my c section stitch ends are in DS's box!!!!

Scraps of wrapping paper from their gifts, cards, pictures, scans...

I've got their first outfits framed - they look so cute, and soooo tiny!

all the normal crap! first haircut, cards, hosp stuff, umbilical clip thingie, milk teeth....

In ds1's box is the DIARY I kept while I was pregnant Oh, you should read it! What a pile of SHIT! I am so embarrassed!

ds2 doesn't have a diary in his box. I need say no more.

Have kept all the cards, but they're not in the same place.
I am going to write up DD's baby book when I finish work for mat leave with DS... oh- she's nearly 3

Oh- and a teeny tiny nappy because they are funnily miniscule!

Cards, scans, hospital note , tags from DD and me, her name card that was stuck on her cot in SCBU, the tag that was hanging from the cot, a helium balloon that we were given with flowers (sans air, obv) and the photos that the company at the hospital took. We were going to send them to everyone but although we thought she was gorgeous at the time, she actually looked strangely like Bernard Manning so we didn't send them out!

She's not old enough for first shoes yet and her first babygro is in the loft with all the others

I have also kept silly thngs like tickets for concerts/cinema etc that I went to when pregnant!

DH discovered recently that I had put the cord clamps in their boxes. He was disgusted
