Are there a lot of people on mumsnet who are not from the U.K.? Would love to know your take on things as you see us, and what "we" talk about. Are things similar in your countries?

I'm Canadian, but I've been in the UK for 9 years or something now. DH is British.

I'm french but have been in the UK for 11 years now.... dh is british, but lived in spain for 8 years.
Find english people nice on the whole, great sense of humour, but quality of life could be better I guess, ie good stuff is too expensive here.
however, french people go on strike all the time which drives me mad, so can't have everything

Southern Irish but have lived in London now for 10 years

can't understand the british (is it a british thing even?) love of real ale. Guiness. That's my bevy, when in Ireland of course. When not about to pop obviously
