what to get 2nd child for crimbo

So everyone has started asking what do the boys want for xmas? DS1 (2yo)is reletivley easy, but ds2 (6 mths) has everything he needs, hes got all of ds1s old toys and clothes. we are not going to have anymore children so when he has outgrown stuff it will only get carbooted, so what do we say? Money to put in an account, but they still want to get him, something.

So my question is what did your under 1's really love?

Last year dd2 was only 3 months, so we got stuff that she would be using within the next year or so. Nice cutlery set (well she isn't that advanced so it is still in cupboard) lovely bowl. A baby einstein dvd (not opened til she was a year)

I would suggest thinking ahead as to what he might need in a few months. If your sons were born at different times of year, you may find that you have "gaps" in the clothes you have kept for him.

ds1 was quite big and ds2 not so big so the different times of the year arent a problem in the clothing dept.

Any other ideas out there?

I have the same problems with 2 DDs. Am going for nice things for DD2s room - e.g. little chair, bedside light, rug, pictures etc. as she has all the rest really.
