I have had my arm twisted (am not usually very good at volunteering for PTA crap stuff but felt cornered) so I have decided, if I am going to do it I want it to be brilliant [fledgling Alpha Mum emoticon]...
Tell me what stalls they have had at your school ... Need ideas ... aaaagggghhhh

How much would you charge for 10 tickets titchy ?

I always put my name down for the Pimms tent!

Another good game -
You need tray of sand about 2in deep and 30 to 50 sticks standing in it (we used dowel cut into 3in lengths). Paint the tip of a couple of the sticks.

Put the sticks into the sand (making sure the painted tips are face down!)

People pay you 50p a go, or 3 turns for a £1, to select a stick. If they get the painted stick they win a bottle of (donated) wine.

Pimms always does well. You need to do it properly though with cucumber, strawberries, fresh mint etc.

Hang on are we talking about the Christmas Fair? In that case, stocking fillers. Jumble.

How about a Pavlova stall? Make a bunch of mini-pavs (meringues, really), have paper plates, bowls of whipped cream and fruit toppings. Either sell them ready-assembled, or let people assemble their own.

Lovely idea Zachary but I don't think the pavs/cream will work ... too hot and too many flies here
Like the Pimms idea too .. ... hmmmmmm
thanks guys
