Street door has wet varnish on it. Can I use a hairdryer to make it dry quicker or will that do something bad to the varnish?

I'm freezing, people walking past are curious as to why this door is open in the middle of the night and the blardy carpenter said it was quick-drying and I'd be able to close the door soon, that was 3 hours ago. The sides are still tacky and if I close it I suppose they might stick together and I'll be trapped in my house tomorrow.

FFS. How can I make it dry quicker? Brrr.

no it will bubble

not a good time to do it really as cold and damp

if you close the door you will be able t open it but it will have a line down

Where will the line be? At the side? I don't really care about that, you can't see it anyway.

I am so fed up.

One good result though - I heard a dogwalker go by and went out and glared at him. Harbour dark suspicions about him being the one who leaves shit outside the house every day so felt a sense of deep satisfaction that he moved swiftly along.
