Could anyone give me any ideas please, I need to send my daughter in to nursery next week with a healthy snack and also a toy or object both beggining with N

I just can't think of anything, N is really hard. They give us a new letter every week. They like to keep us parents on our tows.

I'd be really greatful for any sugestions.

Yes, I don't think that'd go down too well. How old is this recipe ?

I got the book when I went to uni so... bloody hell ... nearly 30 years.

"don't worry about nursey nut policies, I'm sure you wont be banned for brandishing a nut related food stuff!"

You what? If there are allergic children at the nursery, you'd be irresponsible to arrive with food containing nuts.

Oh, so the recipe is older than me.

Loveandrockets- I don't know if there are any allergic children at the nursery, but they all tend to eat each others food. (If birthday partys are anything to go by). It's probubly best to be on the safe side.

She might eat the nectarien if I soak it in sugar over night.

In my experience, my 2 dcs are much more likely to eat food 'they don't like' if at school or nursery.

I'd send in something like a nectarine as she might try it and like it.

I would avoid the nutella- but my son is allergic to hazelnuts!

I'd keep it at home to eat myself
