so i wasn't going to start any more threads on MN but i can't cope with this any more

ds1 still struggling with Y1, ds2 turned up to 11(too much to explain, if you don't know please don't ask!) and ds3 has spent the last 3 nights being awake more than he is asleep, feeding stupidly and just CRYING

I don't want reasons i want him to stop

He is fed, warm enough, not stomach achy, nappy clean, doesn't want cuddles....i just want him to stop

peachy, we have never tried lacto-free with ds2. when he was younger i just stopped cows milk and tried various different ones. He had goats milk (same reaction)(one of his symptoms was a bleeding bottom and i mean really bleeding ), rice milk - he wouldn't touch it and eventually we found tesco and sainsbo own brand sweetened soya worked for him. (it took aaaaaages) As that was enough and i didn't have the back up of the Drs i didn't know what else to do!

DS3 FINALLY slept. he has had an hour and is just waking now. |I like the theory on growing pains Rhubs, and he does seem about due for a "spurt"

Thank you for all your help

Am sorry i didn't offer the chocs round but was mega stressed (and sick afterwards so it serves me right ha ha!)

laundrylover, he sounds like DS2 was! He was and still is a very cry-y boy!

LL is right about slins working MoM if you have one? I got a second hand hip sling (Mei Hip) on ebay and that seems to help with Bas (hates the buggy)

laundrylover · 13/10/2008 16:01

Gosh MoM, a few days with my nephew was enough! My poor SIL is exhausted as she has a three year old DD aswell. They grow out of it eventually (I hope!).

MerlinsBeard · 13/10/2008 20:23

I have a baby bjorn and a ring sling but i can't get to grips with the ring sling and the baby bjorn hurts my back

He has been ok this afternoon this evening i bf him, gave him a MASSIVE tea and bf him again (small feed) before i put him in his cot....hopefully he will be better tonight.

MoM, I#ve had thsi with ds4 and he had tonsilitus.
I didn't even realise babies coudl get it so he suffered for days before I took him to teh doctors.

poor thing.

I hope thing get abit easier soon.

xx

MerlinsBeard · 13/10/2008 20:57

his tonsils look ok LTH, he was quite adamant i should look at them today

however, i am now waiting for him (or me) to come down with something in the next day or 2

Am sooooo glad i had MN to post on though. Weird as it is at the mo here, if i had spoken to someone in RL first i would have got teh "well he is not normally like that" "is he really that bad" reponse

It could be this tummy bug MoM...is it going round your neck of the woods?

DD1 just had it and was AWFUL for a few days before. Tantrum city!

Ring sling....wear it quite high so pull a good bit of material through the loop. Put him on your hip and tighten up then you can push it further back to free both hands up. baby is sitting on the back of your hip IYSWIM.

PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 14/10/2008 15:33

how is he today???

and how are you???

Grammaticus · 14/10/2008 15:45

Sick afterwards? Do you have food issues rearing their head?

MerlinsBeard · 15/10/2008 10:24

grammticus, my food issues are never far away at the mo but i wasn't intentionally sick the other day, just far FAR too much chocolate!

We had an ok ish day yesterday ecept for the fact that he would NOT sleep at all even though he was so obviously fighting it!! He had about 20 mins all day! last night was pretty bad, waking every hour and wanting comfort feeding, ds2 was sleep walking too which he only ever does if he is "sickening", and so far ds3 has had another cry-y day

at least i don't have to do the nursery run today(DS2 with childminder today!)

Ew, poor you. Hope you manage to get out of the house today, I'm sure it would help a little
