We got dd two Britax First Clas Si's as her group 1 car seat (we got one for each car but never really used the second car: grannies and grandads coughed up fort it!!), anyway, now dc2 is due v soon, as you can use the Britax First Class si as the group 0 rear facing from birth, we've decided to use the second car seat for dc2. However, as they're about a year old, i never kept the packaging or instruction manuals once i knew what i was doing with them regarding fittiung them as forward facing, so, although there is the litle sticker on the side showing in red where the seatbelt should go when its a forward facing car seat, and in blue for the rear facing, i'm not a 100% suree i've fitted it right. the seat will doesn't seem secured against been shoved or thrown 'backwards' ie towards the boot, but secure so that it won't go forwards, towards the drivers seat. I bought them from internet, so i don't have receipts for anywhere like mothercare etc to go in and ask for a fitting... does the fitting sound right? Ta!

i just emailed britax for a copy of the instructions for my car seat, and they sent them to me 1st class completely free of charge

Have you flipped the foot forward that is underneath the car seat as that is where I went wrong!

The Blond: You're a star!!!

Nanny L: If there wasn't the vidjos on the britax site then it would have been a request for copy instructions, so thankyou!

Mumlove: yep, looks like that's where i'm going wrong too!

Thank you very much everyone!!!
