Having had a family stomach bug over the weekend that involved my 12mo dd bringing up the entire contents of her stomach in her cot at 2am and then wiping her hair in it, I cannot get rid of the smell. She's had 2 baths and a lot of scrubbing but to no avail. Is it because I'm using (cheap) Tesco's bath stuff? Anybody know of a good product?

No. I have had the same kind of weekend with my dds. It does eventually wear off after a couple of days. It is a gross smell.

Am currently also knee deep in bedclothes, towels etc covered in sick.

Masking it can work. dh sprayed aftershave on our bed as dd was between us and the smell was grim.

Or you could put talc or baby moisturiser to cover it up until it wears off...

Thanks Cloudhopper - sounds like I will just have to be patient. Hope your dd is better.
