Has anyone read Toxic childhood and/or Detoxing childhood?

I'm thinking of buying them, are they any good?

Sound interesting what are they about?

I've read toxicchildhood. Asfar as I can tell it borrows a lot from detoxing childhood. Many of the issues were close to my heart, but very commonsense- letting children play, have more freedom, limit TV and computer use. Easy to read and reaffirmed what i believed IYKWIM

Thanks everyone.

Sorry I didn't reply last night but my daughter woke up, and I had to settle her then fell asleep. (as you do)

The books sound great, I'm going to buy them. I recently bought Raising happy children, it was rubbish!
That's why I thought I'd check first.
