In the near future and not so near future?

Me, very near future, early night with dh, much needed

not so near future: I am having November and December off work and am looking forward to it enormously.

If you haven't got anything to look forward to, what could you arrange?

In the short term I am looking forward to

  1. getting rid of my sore throat
  2. going on holiday with my husband in a posh hotel and then a yurt, as long as I get rid of my sore throat

In the long term, I am looking forward to going to USA for xmas, watching DD continue to flourish

and very long term I am looking forward to DH and I building our own house.

Nice therapeutic thread idea!

Short term: back to work tomorrow after summer off - uncluttered desk and new ideas.

Medium term: Venice for halfterm.

Long term ... well, that's something I've always been rubbish about planning for, so perhaps this will give me an incentive. I would like to be looking forward to finishing a Book (not reading - writing), that's what I'd like.

Short term - off to St Tropez next weekend to a Tikki Hut on the beach (I just know it will blardy rain)

Long term - back to Blighty for Xmas. Hoping to be better off next year and starting to afford to buy somewhere in the French countryside for when we retire. Dream on.....

SHort term - Dexter on in an hour...

Long term, going to the house my mum has rented in the countryside in bath just before christmas with all my siblings, their partners and the dd's, mainly cos it has it's own heated pool and jacuzzis in every bathroom!

short term: In-laws are having ds's for the day next Sunday

medium term: paying off family debts by May

bit longer than medium term: planning summer holidays for 2009 already

Long term: dreaming of doing an extension in the next 5 years or so!!
