Well today, I was supposed to meeting a friend off Mumsnet and we have decided not to, just in case the snow gets worse (which is forecast in this area) and the buses are called off so she can't get home.

Going to have to wait another week or so now before we can meet up again .

I'll ring her later so we can have a chat though.

Does anyone else love the look of snow, but hate the trouble and upheaval that it causes?????????????????

today we are having a carpet picnic under a tent in the kitchen with cakes dd1 is going to help me bake. but before that i have to trudge through 5" snow to get dd2's imms at the drs

i have a huge pile of dishes if you are interested

Don't think you'll be sentimental about doing the dishes for long
