OMG I've developed NIT PARANOIA, what shall I do?

DD has just had nits again which we've hopefully got rid of as we haven't combed any out in the last couple of days.

I've checked my hair too (obsessively so) and I'm nit free (touch wood), even got DP and my mum to have a good check but I am totally paranoid now that I've got them every time I get just a little itch, or a bit of hair moving.

Arrghhh

What's the cure for nit paranoia? Do you think half a bottle of wine will do it? (down my neck not on my hair!)

Just reading this thread title made me scratch my head.

the cure is a big bottle of cheap conditioner and a Nitty Gritty comb.

use at least once a week.

if feeling you really want to get the drop on the fuckers, add tea tree or neem oil to aforementioned conditioner.

I already nit comb mine and DD's hair weekly to check

It's becoming an obsession I think

This time the little feckers laughed at the scent of tea tree conditioner and strolled brazenly through DD's tightly-done french plaits and settled themselves in nicely on her head

They are supernits I'm sure

On the plus side we both always have ultra shiny hair from all the fine combing
