We're taking a colleague of dh's out this evening - he's Polish, doesn't know London well and it's his birthday. Problem is we have lived in the sticks for 10years now and are out of touch with pubs, restaurants etc. Any ideas for a lovely traditional pub? Dh suggested The George in Southwark? Or ideas for a great place to eat? If he likes Indian dh thought The Cinnamon Club or Porte des Indes. I've volunteered to drive so we can do the tour round bit.
