Help! How to get paint out of a coat?????

My son walked through a door today at a community centre that was freshly painted with NO wet paint sign on it and now has white paint on his black ski type coat. How do I get it off???? If I can't, I will be sending them the bill for a new one - I am sooooo annoyed. I don't want to damage the coat, but there must be something to get it out.

If it's machine washable, rub Swarfega into into the paint mark, then put the coat in the washing machine.

Thanks - but what on earth is Swarfega????

Swarfega is a green jelly that comes in a big red tub, and I think you can pick it up at Halfords. Mechanics use it to get grease off their hands.
