How much do you pay for your DD's hair to be cut, (up to the age of 10)

Dry cut £6.50 for 2.6 yo dd in village salon.

My salon charges by age until they are 13 - so a nine year old would pay £9. Having said that I have paid £11 for my 4yr old DS too.

DD is 10 and had her hair cut last week. It cost £11.50, 6 weeks before it was only £9.50! (same place). That was a "dry" cut. We only live a few minutes from the hairdresers and washed it before we went round though.

I pay £5 for dd's hair to be trimmed - dry cut but they squirt it with water and will dry it off with a hairdryer.

She's 4 but they charge this until she's about 11 I think

It's a walk in hairdresser, we all get our hair cut there. Never paid more than a tenner for any of us.

Dd is 7 yo and a dry cut was £9.00 for her. However as she has a classic bob style now she gets it washed etc and last time it cost £15.00 . It bootiful though and gets many comments

dd's cost £6 the last time for a dry cut - it was £5 the time before that. She is almost 5.

I usually cut it myself (trained as a hairdresser many mnay years ago!!)

but she fancied the hairdressers. so for a treat we went and I let her have her hair washed also (love that bit!), but it into a short bob, then dried it off for her

cost £15. My friend thought it really expensive, but I thought not too bad!

I pay £15 for dd to have her hair washed/trimmed/styled. That's on a mon or tues when it's half price, I did have to take her on a different day once but hairdresser only charged £20 instead of £30 as a favour. Now I'm thinking I pay too much. Dd is 5.

i got sick of shelling out and did it myself.

and did a bloody good job, if i say so myself. i figured she was due a hairdresser visit anyway in the event that i cocked it up (i envisioned a yellow-pages james nesbitt stylee sketch!) but nope, all fine and dandy!

£10 here for dry cut (although they spray it, dry it and straighten it!) Would be £15 for a cut & blow which I refuse to pay given that they pretty well do the same with the "dry cut" anyway.

£5 up until 7, £7 7-12.

I have a lady come who I used to go to at the local salon but she went self employed because the hours didn't fit in with her childrens needs.

At the salon;

Me - Cut (mid-length hair) and highlights £60
DS - Dry trim £7(He's 7)
DD - Dry Cut £10 ( Shes 6)

At home;

Me - Same £25, just a cut £10
DS and DD both £5 and 2 year old DD -Free

What a difference!
