technophobe here!! how do i burn a film to a dvd??

tried doing it on windows media player but it wouldn't work.

you need to get a prog called nero thats what we use and it will convert film so you can burn it takes along time to burn the film about as long as it does to watch it

media player doesnt have the codec to do it but we use nero and works perfectly fine you can get free trial

can i put an AVI file on a DVD?

yes nero converts it but it takes hours to burn a dvd its not a quick process with the converting but it works

do you know anything about dvd flick?

You can burn an AVI file to a dvd, as long as you have a player that will play AVI's then it'll work fine, and saves converting which takes hours

ive never used it but if it does the job it looks ok

ive always used nero we managed to get it free a while back and its a great programme
