Is there anything like this for UK names? Names that are really common in the US are likely not to be here & vice versa. All I've been able to find are the top 10 lists, which aren't much help.

talullah, the names are different. The UK doesn't publish as detailed info as the US does, but you can see the last five year's top 100 here . The US information is here .

NQC, how do you enable Java or can you download it? Or upload it? (I'm never sure of the difference!

Um, actually, I'm not sure. This webpage seems to show how, but I can't totally follow the instructions - I think it's Java scripting that you need to have on?

Oh, download = taking something from the net to your computer, upload = taking something from your computer to the net.

So you download stuff you want from the net (java, games, whatever), and you upload things you want to share (pictures, say).

DD's name (with correct spelling) was ranked 660 in 2003. Was most popular in 1900s at 163. However, the other spelling (with a y) was ranked 371 in 1900s, but now way more popular than our spelling, ranked 102.

Really suprised to find out that my name is gaining popularity in US, and is now ranked 93 (in 2003). That really suprises me as I am positive it would be way lower in the UK.

DH's name peaked in 1930s, and number 5.
