i worked in a very trendy shop in central london a couple of years ago, all the guys wore much more make up than me, and spent longer with the hair straightners (then spent all day looking in the mirror)
i was quite abit older than most of them and found it all quite odd

DeeRiguer · 06/08/2008 21:37

yeah but grinninggorilla all men are not like that nor want to be
i too love the names of the products and its a free world innit?
you pays your money you flick your manscara lashes at who you like

GrinningGorilla · 06/08/2008 21:37

Lol. Manbag. I love that. My DH has a little satchel to carry money in for his job. I am always taking the piss out of him about his manbag.

tiredemma · 06/08/2008 21:38

THis Morning had some blokeys on there yesterday morning putting different types of make up. It was hilarious.

Gingerbear · 06/08/2008 21:39

Goths, obv.
But I reckon it wouldn't go down a bomb in Rotherham.

I would just be extremely alarmed if my DH came down stairs fluttering mascara'd lashes at me. No no no. But I do understand that some men must want to wear make up, otherwise there would be no demand for Superdrug to make the range.

DeeRiguer · 06/08/2008 21:40

i have often found many blokes men friends brother etc take much longer to get ready for a night on the tiles..
gawd one guy mirror preened and posed regularly til after 10.. meetcha there!
this was the eighties though
hair and face a big deal

SammyK · 06/08/2008 21:42

My DP is very happy about this new range, he is a big fan of eye liner and mascara.

He is punky tho and gets away with it whilst remaining stubbly and manly.

DeeRiguer · 06/08/2008 21:43

would you grin gorilla if he did?

gingerbear, ou est le rotherham?

ravenAK · 06/08/2008 21:44

NOT goths. We're not that daft - I mean, how, precisely is an eyeliner or mascara formulated for blokes going to be any different?

(Unless the eyeliner's 4" long but marked '6" guyliner', I suppose...)

All the goth men in my life wear B Never To Busy To Be Beautiful, or Constance Carroll - depending on budget.

SammyK · 06/08/2008 21:47

DP always takes longer than me to get ready to go out, last time I actually had to ask for a turn in front of the mirror!

GrinningGorilla · 06/08/2008 21:53

I don't know about grin DeeRiguer, I think I would PMSL.

Izzybel · 06/08/2008 22:10

No no no no noooooo! I do not want to be fighting with my man for the bathroom mirror. Think DP would tell me where to go if I got him "manscara" and "guyliner!" PMSL!
