Look on Bowhills - they have villas everywhere big to small - we are going to one in Tuscany next week and it was about £500pw and the flights were super chaep so it will cost us less than your budget.

too late to get cheap flights though now. Also want to be somewhere pretty central cos we don't drive and don't want to fork out for taxis. Villas tend to be a bit out of the way.

btw was it you who was planning on travelling to Spain 2/3 weeks after having your baby - I guess 2 years ago now ? Did you do it in the end , it has come up from time to time on MN but you've not been around to answer !
