Recommend a Photographer in SE London?

Can anyone recommend anyone they have used? I'm trying to organise a family photo session (5 adults & 3 children) as a gift for my parents 40th wedding anniversary. It's all a bit rushed so before I start trawling the Yellow Pages I thought I'd check if anyone had any suggestions. (I live in Camberwell by the way )

How about asking a photography student at Goldsmith's College? Just an idea.

That's a great idea, bobbins. Also try Camberwell Art College. You can put 'wanted' messages on the student notice boards at both these places - but phone first to check the procedure. At Camberwell the security is tight - strangers can't wander into the colllege.

Don't know what sort of 'style' you're looking for (traditional vs modern) but there's a network of photographers under the name Venture who several of my friends have used and rave about. They do lots of moody b&w and quite funky stuff (but also some really nice shots too). I think they can actually 'touch up' the photos a bit too if you want!
I know there's one in Kingston - but probably more in London too. I'll see if I can find their website url for you.

This guy is fantastic - we missed him for our wedding because he was booked up 18 months in advance (for our Saturday, hopefully you can be more flexible...) Fergus Noone Photography

Thanks for your ideas.
Unfortunately, we haven't got much time as one of my sisters is heading off to Australia in a couple of weeks (and we have only just come up with this plan!). I like the college idea, but can't see myself getting there as I work F/T.

Pat just to say, you can phone up the colleges and if you're lucky, someone will write a notice if you dictate the words, and they will stick it on the wall for you, so you don't need to go in person. Otherwise, ask to be put through to one of the lecturers in phototgraphy direct. They may well be able to recommend someone either at the college or a personal contact.
