It depends when you ovulated. Non existant I'd imagine due to the life of the sperm and the ovum. A bit gross though.

it is never a non existant chance, i;m afraid, if you ovulate early in your cycle, then you could well get caught.. sperm can live between 5 - 7 days. get MAP to be sure if necessary.

It just shows that a woman don't all ovulate in the middle of a cycle.

Unlikely, especially if you know your cycle and it is regular, but possible. I know my cycle (fairly standard 26-30 days, at least it was, am lactationally period-free) and I would only chance it on the first 3 or 4 days.

no, they don;t !! some ovulate later, earlier or in the middle, some cycles you will ovulate different time to other cycles

Depends when you ovulate and if you ovulate at the same time every cycle.

The risks are not massive( on average) but they are there, and if you really don't want to get pregnant then you should use another for of contraception.

Just to really scare you; DS is the (happy) result of sex the day before a period.
I know I usually ovulated about 7-10 days after start of period, so presumably the little squirmer swam against the tide for at least a week.
