HELP ! How can i get rid of fousty type smell on pushchair ?

bought a 2nd hand pushchair in nov . absolute bargain for what i wanted for baby no2 due 7wks. however have been trying to air it out in preparation to freshen up but has really strong fousty type smell all over.

any ideas how to get rid of smell ?

its a graco lie flat pushchair, dk grey/maroon and seat part has stripy pattern.

not sure if machine washable or what can be used to clean it .

does the cover screw onto the frame? is the back of the seat hard? you could unscrew the fabric and put it all in the machine on a 40 degree wash.

will have to check but didnt come with instructions as its generally self explanatory to use, wasnt sure if such material was machine washable.

i have washed many pushchairs in my time
