following on from ernest's thread I feel compelled to share with you the fact that I once went to a wedding where the bride walked up the aisle to The Power of Love by Jennifer Rush. I'm still not sure how the groom's side of the church managed to remain composed. There were certainly a lot of shaking shoulders. Any other howlers?

An alcoholics anonymous wedding where only tea was served!

(we went home and opened a bottle of wine afterwards)

These are great - I wish I got invited to weddings like that. PMSL at Marina's Robin Hood story. I have seen the naffest wedding video though - the guy got the groom and bride together a week or so before the wedding adn filmed them running through the park together, "larking around" in love, feeding each other chocolates and so on. All this was edited on to the front of the vid in soft focus with the occasional heart-shaped wipe. It was truly fabulous.

My cousin is American and she got married outside with one of those white arch things and part way through she and her husband to be sang 'You've got a friend' to each other while gazing into each other's eyes. Soooooo naff I was crying with laughter (at the video - luckily wasn't there!). They weren't even in tune!

They are divorced now!!

Getting married in a TASTEFUL ceremony in Las Vegas but am leading my mum to believe that as we are getting married at Caesers palace thaat I have hired Caeser and Cleopatra to sing at the ceremony. She keeps going mad and me and partner think it is hilarious as we have no such plans.!!!!

I am a bad daughter
