Any talented people out there with time to tell me what to do PLEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE!

Can't find any cheap greek outfits so trying to make my own. DD wants to look lovely and I've just wasted one of my sheets. Her friends will all have bought outfits but even on ebay they are not cheap!

Toga style?

white t- shirt to wear underneath. Cut hole in centre and gather at waist with light coloured sash/scarf. This could also go over one shoulder?

Sorry if no good...someone better may be along soon

How ruined is the sheet?

(toga says roman to me, not massively greek...)

oooops..........didn't read properly- sorryrey

We have one which is just a length of sheet (cut to suitable length for child) gathered in the middle with a piece of cord. That bit sits on the shoulder and then you need a brown belt to hold it in place. White t-shirt underneath and sandals and away you go.
Disclaimer: I was not clever enough to work this out. It was made for me by a fabulous childminder )

Actually orangina- just googled both and there is not a lot of difference

Is it to do with dressing up for the Olympics per chance?? Ours is. Toga very suitably greek for that!!

LIZS · 09/07/2008 13:36

Very long white t shirt , tied at waist with cord. Paint or pen a squarish pattern aroudn the bottom.
