Race for Life - I have a question about what to write on my back...

Hi - am doing the Race for Life next Sunday. The reason I am doing it is that 2 friends have had breast cancer this year and I felt like I wanted to do "something" to show my support for them. I would like to write their names on my back for the Race but I can't think of what to put.

I don't want to write "survivors" or anything too melodramatic as, of course, although they have finished their treatment, it doesn't mean that it will never come back will it?

Any ideas please? I'm sure it's all going to be a bit emotional anyway

Fighting?
Dealing?
Living with?

The first year I did this the little bit of pare you got for this had "In memory of...." on one side and "In celebration of..." on the other. I noticed this year that it wasn't like that.

Maybe you could do "In celebration of...."

and yes, it is very very emotional. I was fighting back the tears just reading everyone's backs, never mind my own messages.

that's what I thought it would say lackadaisy - it's my first time! I would like to celebrate them but I don't want to "celebrate" just yet IYSWIM.

I am going to ask them if I can write their names (they are both doing the run too ) so I suppose I could ask them what they thought

how about "In Support of..."?

Good on them for doing the run

It was the first charity run I've ever done and it was an amazing experience.

like "proud of"...

also quite like "inspirational" or something like that but couldn't work out the right word. Is "inspirers" a word?
