Trying to find a BandB for next week in Poole and not one has a family room or a double and sofe bed.

I really don;t want to have to book a travel inn

We have stayed in ones (pre children) that have had adjoining rooms. So each room has a "normal" entrance door, but you could lock the dcs' door from the inside and open the doors between your two rooms.

I don't have any recommendations, but I will be watching this thread to see if any other mnetters do. I think a travel inn or similar is no good once the children are no longer babies. They won't settle while you are still up (unless you hide in the bathroom ).

If like the idea of a b&b or similar with adjoining rooms and/or a sitting room on the same floor as the bedrooms so you could safely eat/watch tv or whatever and still be in sight and sound of your dcs like you would be at home.

Found one with adjoining rooms at $85 a night.

Will see of they have availablity, not great though.

Sorted, we have phoned the B and B we have stayed in before and they will put a bed in a room for us.
