ebay!!!!!!! or ELC

Depends on yr daughter's age: ELC stuff is great, abt £12 or £14 per room. If she is older, you can get fiddly bits from markets etc Greenwich has a stall). If in S. London by any chance, there is the strangest shop I have ever been to in South Norwood, that sells model making stuff and every possible accessory for dolls houses (trumpets, bowls of fruit, hatstands, potties...absolutely anything you could want. Not expensive either tho it soon adds up. Its a bit like an ancient version of Argos: they have a catalogue so you pick out what you want and the guy shuffles of to the back and finds it for you. I think they do mail order too. Its called Hobbies. Beware, its full of men in anoraks...

Thanks, my mum always told me to beware of men wearing anoraks!
I have just today been told that their is a sweet little shop called Thumbelina and its only 6 miles away from me, I phoned and it sounds promising!
Thanks anyway.

ELC does rooms at £10 a go, they are great!

www.elc.co.uk have a multibuy offer on their furniture. If you buy three sets you get the cheapest free (akthough they all see to be £10 anyway!). Worked out I can get the entire house furnished for £40.

BTW John Lewis seems to have a gorgeous dolls house - Georgian style with a red roof? Anyone else got it. Is it as good as it looks? Pricy though - £99
