I'm looking for a lovely gift for my daughters teacher, any ideas ??

Hi, I am looking for ideas for a special gift to give to my daughters teachers at the end of term. My daughter is in the nursery and in september will be moving up a class and leaving her old teachers behind. They are really lovely ladies and have been so fantastic with Lucy.
I was thinking of a home made card with a picture of the teacher with Lucy with some lovely words inside etc. I just need ideas for a pressie. What would you like to recieve? I know they are going to be sad about Lucy moving up. Any ideas would be appreciated.

All my teacher friends say alcohol is the best gift Best check they are not tee total first though

Could you got to a pottery painting place and get her to make a jug or plate with her handprint and name on ?

Don't buy flowers as lots of teachers go away the second school finishes so they get binned!

Thanks everyone, I really like the idea of the pottery. I could design somthing lovely and it would be a uneque gift.
I gave some thorntons when they broke up for christmas. I'm excited now about designing my work of art.[very sad!!!] I will get Lucy to help of corse.
