I am making this post in hopes to bring some awareness to Parents and in hopes they check that their child isn't posting innapropriate content behind their backs. I have a channel, I do not post videos, but I have left comments a few times. I also have 1 subscriber. When I looked at the channel who subbed, I found something disturbing. This user stated they were 14 in their bio and had uploaded straight up porn that was made with the emojis on our keyboards onto youtube shorts. Apparently this is a current trendy thing called 'emoji cat heat'. If you type this up on youtube you will get some strange results and the slang 'sus' which in recent years have been used to describe sexual content without Tiktok removing your comment. Searching the term 'Emoji cat' gives you porn thumbnails in a milasecond. All made using the shape emojis. Scrolling this search results in even more of this porn. Why are these still here? Well, Youtube moderation sucks and there is plenty of evidence on Reddit as to how many innapropriate videos 'still' get onto the youtube kids app. What's worse about this search is just how many of these videos seem to be uploaded by children who reveal their face and straight up tell strangers their age in their youtube bios. A found a channel who uses an obvious fetish background who seems very oblivious to the fact it's a fart fetish drawing of digital circus characters. The Same kid showed her face in a short. Another channel i came across revealed to liking scat in their bio. (Do i really need to tell you what scat means on the internet?) I think this kid is also unaware that they have found fetish content and saw it as toilet humor. Another child has uploaded herself drinking 'drinkable sperm'.
This clearly needs to stop. I don't know how but it needs to. I am hoping if enough parents know and complain Youtube will take notice along with the news. No one stopped 'Gacha Heat' which was this same mess but 6 years ago. Please monitor your child when they use the net. We cannot just sit there and let groomers attack.
