How can I stop my neighbour and her children invading privacy?

Update on overbearing neighbour.

Hi everyone, after my last post I continued trying to not interact but it got worse.

Today, her children were looking into our front window. Infact her and her children always look into our windows which means I have to have the blinds down 90% of the time.

She has no respect for property. They have let the gate slam so many times that the latch is broke. I keep trying to keep the gate open with a brick, that then gets moved to allow the gate to slam again.

She is invading my privacy, trying to get my attention while im inside my kitchen. She knocks on my gate, she wont respect my privacy at all.

Again there is a language barrier and she doesnt understand me much..

How do I make this woman and her children stop? Its getting to the point I cant even have my blinds open. Its ridiculous

For fuck sake, lighten up, it was tongue in cheek.

Tell her to stop, she may not think she is imposing on you- you have to bite the bullet and tell it is not acceptable to breach someone's privacy in the UK.

Is that two fingers or the middle one? :-)

I don't know why they have broken a gate, unless shared? If that's the case, take the flipping thing off it's hinges. It will be blowing in the wind all winter and fall off soon enough anyway.

Other than that, it's not clear what steps you have taken OP to stop this? Have you told her and her children to fuck off yet?

@Gamerchick124 Fuck off is pretty universal. Most cultures and people who speak other languages understand what Fuck off means.

Oh, I just remembered, a friend had a similar problem, flats overlooking a shared yard. The kids were feral. I bought them a cheapy indoor CCTV camera that just sat inside the window - the parents were non-too happy (despite having their own cameras) but they stopped their children coming up to the window.

Are you in flats or is it a shared garden? I can't understand how they are getting to your window. You could get those reflective or obscure window stickers, but nothing will drive the message home faster than than shouting at them to go away.

What language does she speak? Put a strongly worded letter into ai and post it through her door. The ai will make sure it won’t get you into trouble legally if you prompt it (eg avoid threats and insults)

We used a foam roller and some PVA on our street facing windows to make it frosted, took about 2 layers and looked sketchy going on but dried down nicely so we can still have the blinds up and when we're done it will wash off with soapy water.
