Girls toys - Which is better?

Trying to buy a gift for a 8/9 year old girl and came across Aqua beads and Fimo clay whilst in town today.

So which is better in your oppinion.

I don't really know - I would just have thought it was more grown up. My dd when she was 5 had aqua beads - so but that recokinging I would have thought Fimo better for and 8 year old, I know my cousing has used it at thta age.
