I am thinking of changing my energy suppliers-gas and electricity.
Do you think it's good time for it now? or shall I do it later, like in winter time?
Thank you.
Dora

put your details in to Uswitch.com and they'll tell you if it's worth it

I think it's worth it now rather than in winter because if you set up a fixed direct debit, you can gain credit on the account for winter - and with the price hikes due, it may be a good idea!

Is uswitch independant?
or can they be expected to advertise suppliers?

They are independant

This is what they say:

uSwitch.com is a free, impartial online and phone based comparison and switching service that helps customers compare prices on a range of services including gas, electricity, home phone, broadband providers and personal finance products

Thanks LewisFan-I just went onto USwitch and they have undercut my current supplier by £70 per year!

dod you do direct debit LewisFan?
is it safe?
i mean if they estimate bigger amount they will try to get it from the account.
do they take it after they send the bill? how long after usually?
will i have time to return back to them?
thanks LewisFan
