That's not bad - it's nearly £90 for vacs round here!

Whizzz · 19/06/2008 20:03

oh dear - didn't you research before you fell for the furry bundle. Don't forget there is the ongong monthly cost of flea & worm treatments too. And annual boosters for the injections.

flipflopper · 19/06/2008 22:40

That sounds ok to me

dont forget there is also worming, de-fleaing and microchipping to look forward to!

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 19/06/2008 22:41

Cheap.

Please don't tell me, you fell for the fluffy kitten and forgot to factor in RL.

bubblepop · 20/06/2008 13:33

actually. it was dh who organised the kitten, went along with dc's without my knowledge..then said "guess what? we're getting a kitten!" ofcourse i will ensure she is looked after, neutered etc. I was merely seeking a little friendly support and advice, don't appreciate sarcastic comments.

You can get Frontline cheaper at Pets at Home than from the vets now. I must admit I'm really naughty and only get my cat vaccinated for cat flu these days, don't bother with the luekemia/HIV/thingy one. She's spayed and doesn't fight so I figure she's at very low risk of getting it. Plus every cat I've ever had as been run over rather than get any illness.

bubblagirl · 20/06/2008 17:55

my cat only had one lot of vacs as house cat and was much more money than that did get her done as kindest thing to do it may seem expensive but in the long run its not to bad you can ask vet if you can do a payment plan with them

in general the first few months feels expensive but when its done its done and you'll have cute little kitty
