What's your budget?

Would he like an "experience" eg parachute jump, tank driving, cookery day, pamper day etc.

mazzystar · 19/06/2008 16:14

concert tickets?

love2sleep · 19/06/2008 16:41

Photo album with carefully selected photos of you all that span the whole time you've been together.

Would one of those electronic photo frames be too pricey?

or am I being too soppy?

Tas1 · 19/06/2008 18:20

Great ideas thank you, had a weekend booked at Rick Steins,Padstow but had to cancel due to finance. I had thought of Theatre tickets, he would like to see Lord of the Rings. He would'nt like an experience day, hates heights, only drives because he has to, but great idea.
I did the album idea for Fathers day.(Not soppy, my husband loved it)
My budget is around £100.
I was trying to think of something he could keep.
Why are men so hard to buy for!!!
Keep thinking everyone, i'm sure we cn come up with something between us.
If you are a man reading this, tell me what do men want?

This.

singyswife · 19/06/2008 21:02

What about a table top jukebox. I was going to get my dh one of these. Or a golf game at a really expensive course (a links course etc) that you know he would love to play. Get him and a friend/playing partner a game, he will love you for it.

cosima · 19/06/2008 21:02

expensive pen
expensive sunglasses
a book about stars
a wallet
some pyjamas

tell us some more about him

cosima · 19/06/2008 21:05

a coffee maker
a tree for the garden
a strimmer

Northwick Park where each of the 9 holes is based on a famous hole from golf courses around the world.

Ladybird Book framed print shamelessly pinched from thread the other day...
Nostalgic.

Sunshinemummy · 19/06/2008 21:12

If he likes golf what about a round at a top course like The Belfry or Wentworth? Or I just bought DP golf lessons.

singyswife · 19/06/2008 21:13

What about a star???? You can buy a star and name it after him. Google 'name a star'. Or why not get him one of those, on the day your were born kits. He can keep it and it is something he can share with the kids when they get old enough to appreciate these things.

Tas1 · 20/06/2008 10:08

Thanks everyone, you have all come up with some great ideas.
now all i've got to do is try and choose one!
