Google maps location sharing is really good, easy to use and totally free.

Is it an iPhone? Use find my - you can add devices as well as the iCloud account, and it should already be installed. If android then life360.

We use family link as the kids have Android phones.
DH has an iPhone and the app allows him to set restrictions and see the location too. But I don't think it would be the best option if the kids have iPhones.

we use life360 as we have both android and iPhones.

Hi, if you’re also looking for ways to manage phone use alongside keeping track of usage habits, you might want to look at apps like Learn2Play. It focuses less on tracking location and more on helping children build healthier screen-time habits by linking play time with learning activities.
