have never seen long sleeves 100% cotton ones.

dothey have to wear a sweater?

barmymamma · 15/06/2008 11:35

yes, thats why i wanted long sleeves, so the sweater doesnt irritate him. could ask if he could wear diff one, but dont want him to stand out from others.

Could you not get a long sleeved shirt? They have those everywhere.

misdee · 15/06/2008 11:37

its a pain isnt it.

dd1 sweatshirt doesnt seem to irritate her. but then most days she has discarded it by the end of the day anyway.

love2bake...........i will get normal shirts if i cant find polo, just that polo easier to put on and less rigid. child bit fussy, lol. doesnt like collars. although buttoned cuffs would stop scratching.just dont want daily battle to get him dressed, will avoud at all costs, lol.

hi
this brought me back about 4 years & made me smile!
my ds has AS and could'nt wear shorts or short sleeves for years, we live in Ireland so my poor Mum had to tackle the tube and trains in central london to find a long sleeved polo top for PE, she found a shop and my mum, me and the school were so thrilled it was like winning the lottery!!!
I'll never forget her telling me, im ok, ive got my ticket, i found my glasses and studied the map, i'll be ok - military operation
now, of course he will only wear short sleeves and we are all delighted
I think if you hadnt got any answers I would have sent my Mum in again (wink)
glad its worked out for you
