They are going back in there now for DP when he's peckish (I'll forget to tell him about the worms )

My brother used to eat earthworms when he was little and he's only slightly strange! he used to wash the mud off first though - 1st class protein!!

HMC, curled up tightly it's about the size of a drawing pin head.
I called environmental health this am, and they are going to look into it, they told me to keep the fish and worm in the freezer.

The fish I bought before seeing this thread is staying in the freezer for the forseeable future!!

When I was at college I used to work in a fish and chip shop and the man that owned it said he always chose haddock over cod for his own family as cod are always infested with worms. I have followed his advice ever since!

sounds gross
maybe you will get something free though, my mum found a fly on a bernard mathews turkey roll once and got loads of free stuff

FineFigureFio · 25/01/2005 14:19

and the funny thing was because the turkey roll had started to defrost, the fly fell off. So she sellotaped it on!

We had a beetle on our Waitrose garlic bread recently. I did post a thread about it - gone off for analysis now.

Oh god, I'd planned have fish for dinner tonight. I'm going to have to defrost something else now.
