norethisterone on first day of period

Hi all so I’ve just taken my first norethisterone tablet, and then went to the toilet and seen my period has just started (my cycles are all over the place so wasn’t sure on when I’d start) shall I continue them? I’ve got a party tomrorow night and a night away which I’d really like to not be on my period for. Has anyone started on day one of their cycle and successfully stopped their period, and if yes how quickly did it stop it? I have 24 hours!! Thank you

I’ve used it several times and always got my dates right except for the one time when my period came early, I carried on taking the 3 tablets a day and it did stop after 3 days (my period is usually 7 days) but I still got the odd spotting so it was pointless in my opinion.

Obviously everyone’s body reacts differently so all you can do is try and hope it stops.
