Hi all I'm getting a new tumble dryer and I was wondering what settings do you all use like is there one setting that you use for everything or do I have to change settings depending on what I'm drying, Its an indesit dryer if that's any help.
Really appreciate any advice lol as my current tumble dryer is over 10 years old the settings are totally different.

Probably depends on the type. Mine is over 10 years old, vented Hotpoint. It has 2 settings, warm/hot and a dial clock.

6 clicks to the right, 60 or 90 minutes depending on the load size

Hi my old one was like that and you could select a timed program like 60 mins etc but this one you can't it's got synthetic cupboard dry , cotton cupboard dry etc

Cupboard dry with one +

They have sensors in them now which is good because it means it stops when the clothes reach the preferred level of dryness rather than just going for the set amount of time.

Thank you that's good to know. I was worried cupboard dry may shrink the clothes lol

No, it's just telling the sensor what level of dryness you want. I want to be able to put things away out of the dryer. Everything else ends the cycle with it slightly damp, which I don't get the point of, aside from the ironing setting (but I don't iron anyway).

I don't iron either I don't actually own an iron now come to think of it 😂😂 I've noticed it has synthetic cupboard dry and cotton dry setting so I guess I'll try one with a few test pieces of clothing to see how it goes lol I'll report back when it arrives tomorrow.
