micci25 · 06/06/2008 14:31

my dd1 once told me after i had straightened my hair for a night out "your looks hair nice today mummy, its normally a mess!"

also after i had a row with dp one night because he told me i smelt just before i was going out (i had just had a bath, turned out later that it was the dog who was over due her bath he could smell!) when i was planning my next night out dd1 said "dont let daddy be nasty to you, you are lovely just how you are, even if you do smell!"

bless her she does try to be nice!

dd when sitting on my knee,

"Mummy you smell of chins"

diplodocus · 06/06/2008 17:12

My DD (2.6) said to me "sit down on the floor with me, Mummy. I said I couldn't (because I was busy), to which she replied seriously "no, your bum's too big, isn't it!".

Elk · 06/06/2008 17:19

My dd1 has complained about my breath in the morning. It is not helped by me having to wear a night guard to stop me grinding my teeth which seems to make me drool alot.

Dd2 came up to me yesterday morning:
dd2' I yove you mummy'
me'I love you too darling'
dd2 'Can I have a bourbon?'

(dd2 has also asked me to take her nappy off so she can look at her willy!!)

fizzbuzz · 06/06/2008 18:28

Dd1: Mummy, you have a hairy bottom.
Me: You'll have one too when you grow up darling, all ladies do.
Dd1: Noooooooo! {cue tantrum for an hour}

sweetkitty · 06/06/2008 20:50

DDs (3 and 2) sing "You've got a big jelly bum" to me as I'm getting changed.

DD1 told me tonight "Mummy you smell you need a shower" I DO NOT!

Habbibu · 06/06/2008 20:55

DD 18 mo, in cubicle in cafe toilet with me: "Poo, stinky! Wipe the bottom!".
