Do you wear a signet ring? If so please tell me about it

I keep meeting people who wear them in RL but I'm too embarrassed to quiz them on their jewellery

Mine is a fairly simple gold ring which my parents gave me for my 5th Christmas present and I've worn it ever since, 4th finger right hand. My initials are in copperplate. It's the only jewellery I wear besides wedding and engagement rings.

I have a "family" one which, since I got engaged/arried I now wear on the little finger of my right hand.

I was given it on my 18th birthday. My Mum has the "master" seal from which the new ones are made - it comes from her family. She also wears one.

It is a stag's had (but straight horns) on a tray/crown. The stroy I was told is that it's supposed to represent some sort of connection to royalty/Henry VIII - one of his many conquests but "wrong side of the blanket"
