A man was stabbed in the middle of the afternoon about 500yards from where my dd was playing.

I am in shock, I let my dd play out with her friends all the time and this was all going on. I can even remember dp coming back from the tip commenting that there was something going on up the road as there were police everywhere.

Thanks God we are moving.

We don't even live in a rough bit of town!

It was right by the swimming baths and a green area so lots of kids around.

DD was totally oblivious and I don't intend on filling her in.

I really do despair of the society we are in at the moment. When is it going to stop? How many more people have to die?

These were not kids either men in their 30s.

Bloody hell. Thank goodness it wasn't fatal and no-one else was hurt (and they've caught the guy).

It just shakes you up though, I consider our road very safe. DD plays out all day and goes on the green with her friends.
