I've superglued my fingers - any advice??

Admittedly they aren't stuck together but I'm worried about picking it all off in case the skin comes off. Can't ask dh as I'm not talking to him and he'll say something patronising and wind me up. It's only the fingertips of 2 fingers and 1 nail. Any ideas?

Is the glue still wet ?

Go and stroke his face to make up !!!

Then you'll be stuck together and you'll have to talk

it will come off by itself. thats the great thing about skin. difficult to do anything permanent to it.
as the skin ages, it flakes off. so the bits attached tothe superglue, will flake off. no harm done.

WanderingTrolley · 25/05/2008 12:19

My advice is don't do it again.

And wipe it off with nail polish remover.

KatyMac · 25/05/2008 12:19

You can get undoing stuff for superglue......this staement was not much good as you probably don't have any

TurkeyLurkey · 25/05/2008 12:20

Try nail varnish remover.

DeeRiguer · 25/05/2008 12:22

yes n varnish remover will do it.... if you can manage on your own..

swedishmum · 25/05/2008 12:24

Thanks stitch - serves me right for not asking him to help me in the first place I guess. DIY at the weekend always makes us grumpy!

Can you take a picture? Maybe we will get a cheap laugh be able to help?

nannyL · 25/05/2008 19:44

i did that
went to A&E (with fingers glued togerth and tube stuck to me aswell )

I had to just wash it off with WATER

plain old water

toom about an hour to unstick and a fw baths to all come off

Water is the thing and lots of it

ninedragons · 26/05/2008 05:26

WD40 also works. It's the universal unsticker - very good for label residue, car tax disks etc.

Oh dear sm! Hope you're unstuck now and made up with dh.
