I am reading a book at the moment where one of the characters has this name and everytime I come across it, I glance across because I have no idea how to pronounce it and it's starting to irritate me!

I'm sure someone will know?

TIA

So it can be a boy or girls name then? The character is a bloke in the book!

What book are you reading??? It is usually a girl's name!

skidoodle · 22/05/2008 09:04

it's a girl's name

mishymoo · 22/05/2008 09:09

It's called Suddenly Single by Sheila O'Flannagan. Maybe I have got it wrong then, possibly my assumption that it was a boy (only just started book)!

mishymoo · 22/05/2008 09:11

Thanks Buda! I really don't have any idea why I assumed it was a boy

You are going to have to start it again and read from the point of view of Aoife being a girl!

Will prob change your whole view of the book!

mishymoo · 22/05/2008 09:55

I suspect you're right!
