Myself and DP moved house 3 years ago and when trying to book a holiday, realised we couldn’t find my passport or the passports of our 2 DC. So we ended up staying in the UK. Now looking to go away again (since found said passports) but I can’t remember whether my DP reported them as lost. He’s sadly not with us to ask. I don’t want to order new ones if I don’t need to as they have plenty of years left on them. But will they be valid if he had reported them as lost? I don’t want to turn up at the airport and not be able to go, but how would I be able to find out?
